Founded in 1938, the Industry Fair is the oldest and largest outdoor sales carnival in Hong Kong. The 55th Hong Kong Industrial Exhibition opened on December 11. The mobile laboratory is jointly developed by Shineway, CMA verification center, Hong Kong University of science and technology and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. Compared with the traditional laboratory, the mobile testing laboratory has the characteristics of flexibility, rapid response, small floor area, safety and reliability.
The mobile laboratory adopts sub-regional work, and concentrates the necessary processes for nucleic acid detection such as reagent preparation, sample processing and amplification analysis. In addition, there is a graded gradient pressure difference in the laboratory, which can prevent cross-infection of samples and ensure the safety of detectors.
Compared with traditional nucleic acid testing, the mobile laboratory not only eliminates the need for transportation, but also provides immediate results on the spot, buying time for COVID-19 epidemic prevention. At present, the global COVID-19 epidemic is still at a high level, and the new coronavirus is constantly mutating. From early infection to the window period of symptom onset and asymptomatic cases, the situation is more complicated. Therefore, the laboratory is of great significance to control the epidemic.

The laboratory was unveiled at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as early as March this year, providing free on-site nucleic acid testing services for students and employees of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which has been highly recognized by the general public.
The mobile PCR laboratory will continue to play its role as a "anti epidemic weapon" as in the past. It will help Hongkong citizens to carry out the 24 day exhibition and will continue to serve the people of Hongkong, and will carry out the best products to support the prevention and control of the disease.
